The 15th Oakland International Film Festival will take place April 4-8th, 2017. We are currently seeking films of all lengths that demonstrate the power of the moving image. We seek films that tell stories, fiction and documentary that highlight stories often not seen nor heard by mainstream media. We seek films that are made by the cultures the film speaks to. We seek films that answer some of societies main problems: i.e. how can we end war? how can we save our planet? how can we build sustainable communities?
